Contest and Prizing Rules

Rules and Regulations for National Bank’s Move for Youth Challenge 

No purchase or donation of any kind is required to be eligible to win the prize awarded through the National Bank’s contest (“the contest”). Every member of the public who is of the age of majority in their home Province or Territory is eligible to participate by registering on the MoveSpring app or emailing a request to be included in the contest to Lorena Costa at lcosta@unitedwayeo.ca. 

Participants need to be residents of Canada who have attained the age of majority in their Province or Territory of residence.  

To participate in the contest and be eligible to win, you can register at our MoveSpring app ‘Move / On bouge’ challenge  https://link.movespring.com/join?orgCode=UW-Centraide&groupCode=MZ8PQ6   Each participant may not win more than one (1) prize; if a participant is eligible for more than one (1) prize, the next eligible participant will be selected.  

To qualify for the Team leaderboard prize, a team must have at least 2 members.    

 

Privacy Statement and Acknowledgements 

By entering the contest, you acknowledge that you will irrevocably abide by the contest’s rules. You acknowledge that the decisions of the contest organizers are final and binding and cannot be reviewed for any reason whatsoever. National Bank, its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies shall not be liable whatsoever for any matter, claim, damages or loss related to the contest, howsoever occasioned, including damages for lost, misplaced or delayed entries. 

You acknowledge that the odds of being randomly selected as the winner depend upon the total number of eligible entries received, a fact that will not be known until the submission deadline. Furthermore, you acknowledge that any personal information you share, including phone, email or home address, may be used by United Way East Ontario and Centraide Outaouais in the future to contact you about United Way / Centraide activities, in keeping with United Way’s and Centraide’s privacy policies. 

The prize for this contest is one of five gift cards, each with a total prize value of $100 for individual participants and $200 for teams. Data collected to determine prizing will be from 12 a.m. on May 1, 2024, to 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2024. 

If you win the contest, you must accept your prize as awarded and know that the prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or cash value. 

The winners of these draws will be announced after the challenge. The winner will be contacted by phone or email shortly after the time of winner selection and receive written correspondence, including a mathematical skill-testing question, which must be answered in order for the winner to claim their prize package thereafter by way of electronic mail.
